Procedures

The Hershey Endoscopy Center performs colonoscopy and EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy) procedures. These procedures examine either the upper or lower gastrointestinal tracts.

HEC will schedule open-access procedures on medically stable patients without the need for prior consultation.This is offered to improve access to endoscopic procedures by highly qualified physicians and also offers a unique opportunity for patients to have their procedure and receive their results on the same day.
