Patient Information

All patients coming to the Hershey Endoscopy Center must be referred by a physician for a gastrointestinal procedure. Patients may not self-refer for a procedure.

Once a request for a procedure has been received from your physician, a nurse will contact you to review your medical history and medications, discuss your procedure and provide you with education and instructions. You will be given a date and time for the procedure and a packet of information/instructions will be mailed to you.

Please bring all updated insurance cards with you to your procedure. We are NOT part of the Hershey Medical Center and are unable to access any of your insurance information; therefore, it is absolutely necessary to bring your cards with you. Inaccurate insurance information may result in you receiving a bill. If you have any pre- arranged payment plans with the Hershey Medical Center, please contact our billing office.

Please bring a photo ID with you, such as a driver’s license or a correspondence showing current residency. This is to prevent identity theft. Thank you for your cooperation.
